Skin Health & Rejuvenation
Medical-grade facials, microneedling, and skin rejuvenation treatments in West Jordan, UT. Personalized skin health at Mana Wellness and Aesthetics.
What It Is
Your skin tells a story — of your health, your hormones, your stress levels, and your life. At Mana Wellness and Aesthetics, we believe that beautiful skin starts with healthy skin, and healthy skin starts with understanding what is happening beneath the surface.
Aubrie Bair, DNP, FNP-BC offers medical-grade skin health treatments that go beyond what you will find at a day spa. Our customized facials, microneedling, and rejuvenation protocols are designed to stimulate your skin's own healing and renewal processes — improving texture, tone, clarity, and resilience from the cellular level up.
What makes our approach different is that we treat your skin as part of your overall wellness. Hormonal changes, nutritional deficiencies, gut health, and stress all show up on your skin. When appropriate, Aubrie addresses those internal factors alongside your topical treatments for results that truly last.
Is This Right for You?
You may benefit from skin health & rejuvenation if you're experiencing:
- Fine lines, wrinkles, or loss of skin elasticity
- Dull, uneven, or tired-looking skin
- Acne scarring or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
- Sun damage, age spots, or uneven skin tone
- Large pores or rough skin texture
- Hormonal breakouts or adult acne
- Skin changes related to hormonal shifts
- Desire for medical-grade treatments beyond what a day spa offers
How It Works at Mana
Every skin health journey at Mana begins with a thorough skin assessment. Aubrie evaluates your skin type, current concerns, and underlying factors — including hormonal health — to create a treatment plan that addresses your unique needs.
Our microneedling treatments use controlled micro-injuries to activate your body's natural collagen and elastin production, improving texture, firmness, and overall skin quality. When combined with PRP (your own platelet-rich plasma) or targeted serums, the results are amplified. Medical-grade facials are customized to your skin's current needs — whether that is deep hydration, brightening, acne management, or anti-aging.
Aubrie may also recommend internal support — like hormone optimization, nutritional adjustments, or gut health protocols — when those factors are contributing to your skin concerns. It is a whole-person approach to your most radiant skin.
What to Expect
You will notice an immediate glow and improved texture after your first facial. Microneedling results build over time as collagen production ramps up — expect to see meaningful improvement in skin quality within 2 to 4 weeks after each treatment, with cumulative benefits over a series of 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
Treatments are relaxing and performed in a comfortable, private setting. Microneedling sessions take approximately 45 to 60 minutes, including numbing time. Facials typically run 45 to 75 minutes depending on the treatment selected.
After microneedling, expect mild redness for 24 to 48 hours — similar to a sunburn. Most patients return to their normal routine the following day. Aubrie provides detailed aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing and results.
Skin Health & Rejuvenation FAQ
What is the difference between a medical facial and a spa facial?
Medical facials use clinical-grade products and techniques that penetrate deeper and deliver more significant results than spa-grade treatments. They are performed under medical supervision and can be customized with active ingredients — like retinoids, growth factors, and clinical-strength acids — that are not available in spa settings.
How does microneedling work?
Microneedling creates thousands of tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin, triggering your body's wound-healing response. This stimulates new collagen and elastin production, resulting in firmer, smoother, more even-toned skin. It can be enhanced with PRP or specialized serums for targeted results.
Is microneedling painful?
We apply a topical numbing cream before treatment, so most patients describe the sensation as mild — like light sandpaper on the skin. Comfort is a priority, and Aubrie adjusts the treatment depth based on your tolerance and the area being treated.
Can microneedling help with acne scars?
Yes. Microneedling is one of the most effective treatments for acne scarring because it stimulates the skin's own remodeling process. A series of treatments can significantly improve the depth, texture, and appearance of acne scars.
How often should I get skin treatments?
It depends on the treatment and your goals. Microneedling is typically done every 4 to 6 weeks in a series of 3 to 6 treatments. Facials can be done monthly for maintenance. Aubrie will create a schedule that fits your goals, budget, and lifestyle.
